Concussion Substitute Protocol

A like-for-like replacement (ICC rule from 2019) when a player suffers a concussion during play, following independent medical assessment.

Cannot be used as a tactical sub; the replacement must match the role of the injured player.

Disputes resolved by match referee; standardised HIA tool used pitchside.
