Toe Guards & Bat Repair

A rubber or fibre toe guard glued to the bottom of the blade to prevent toe cracks from tapping the crease.

Bats have been made from English/Kashmir willow since the 18th century; blade dimensions are fixed under MCC Law 5 (max 108 mm wide, 67 mm deep).

Standard on all new bats; replace when worn through.

Ignoring early hairline cracks — re-bind with fibre tape immediately.
